Our mission is to support people in recovery from substance use disorders by improving their access to quality recovery residences that operate according to standards and ethics.
Vision
We envision all persons in recovery across the state of New York having access to the recovery support and healthy communities they need to thrive.
NYSARR is proud to be the emerging New York state affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR). NYSARR joins a national network of 30+ state affiliates who collaborate with NARR to provide certification and facilitate adherence to the NARR national standard and code of ethics for all levels of recovery residences.
The New York State Alliance of Recovery Residences is the emerging statewide affiliate for the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, a 501-c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the availability of well-operated, ethical, and supportive recovery housing. We network throughout New York State in collaboration with agencies and allies in recovery.
