NYSARR Accomplishments
Annual recertification of previously certified recovery homes in NYS in partnership with
Pennsylvania Alliance of Recovery Residences (PARR) in progress.
Hosted trainings on self-care for recovery home staff, recovery housing in the continuum of care
and other educational events related to recovery housing.
Provided 30+ consultations to recovery housing operators and potential members.
Hosted monthly open meetings, connecting with over 150 interested stakeholders.
Maintained a partnership with ORN, which funds technical assistance and trainings with subject
matter experts and the recovery community.
Continued a partnership with Friends of Recovery NY (FOR-NY), which provides NYSARR a
platform to share the development of our affiliate statewide.
Developed strategic and extensive public comment regarding OASAS Part 860.
Awarded grant funding from ESL Federal Credit Union and the United Way.
Implemented Behave Electronic Record System to facilitate voluntary certification process and
data collection.
